Judge allegiances by actions, not words
When people declare adherence to some religion or philosophy, I make assumptions about them:
- I am a Muslim β "Cool, you don't do drugs or alcohol!"
- I am a Christian β "Great, you must be honest and virtuous woman, then."
- I am pacifist β "Wow, I'm glad there still are people who ready to search for non-war solutions."
- Oh, you do smoke weed occasionally and drink "socially".
- You sleep around and work as adult model β didn't see that coming.
- I see, THIS war is totally justifiable.
I feel like, better way is to flip the script β to judge what people are by their actions, not by their words...
