Slip backs are part of the road to achievement

When I have a goal,
let's say the goal is — not to consume sugar for 21 days,
if I slip back on it,
in this case let's say I ate some sweets on a day 5,
I immediately "mark" the whole goal as failed and give up.

More productive approach would be to accept that slip backs will occur,
and to plan for them, accordingly.
